When did you start the band? I joined the band in 2003 (I think). My son, Joe, who was learning to play alto sax had been invited to join the band. Keith Colwell very quickly found out that I’d played trombone as a child and insisted that I joined in immediately, despite a 20 year break! Funniest & Daftest Moment? Dressing in swimming gear and performing as a synchronized swimmer to the music of ‘Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy’ – thanks to Mel. Greatest Moment? Meeting my wife, Julie. Band tours: Pont du Casse x 2 , Disneyland Paris, Durrington Favourite pieces of music: Dave Brubeck and James Bond Selections. Count Basie. |
